We are moving this Friday from a 1 bedroom into a 3 bedroom! We are prepping to have Popop K move out here at the end of August and we needed extra space for all the baby stuff we are starting to collect. I did not realize how much STUFF we have!! Boxes of books and diapers and socks and clothes and stuffed animals and books....LOTS of books!!
Thankfully Aunt Jessie and Uncle Josh are going to help us move this week so I don't have to take off of work! Aunt Jessie is still looking for a job and we keep our fingers crossed for her. I know she'll find one at the right time for the right company. (CHIN UP, GIRLIE!!)
In ADOPTION NEWS, we have decided that it makes much more sense for us to wait for the spring time enrollment period at LFS. D works serious overtime during the holidays and we wouldn't be able to do much towards the adoption until January anyway.
One of my friends posted a question on Facebook the other day that made me think how infertility has changed my life. Some days I truly feel like it defines me. I'm not J from Jersey, loud, funny, caring, loving, and crazy; I'm J-I can't have children. Since making the decision to adopt, I'm finding that I can break from the infertility mold and pursue a life that I want...minus Clomid, Progesterone, crazy-wild mood swings, and injectibles.
Since we know that I'm never planning on giving birth, there is no reason I should be 70 lbs from my goal weight. I always said I'd wait until I had all my children done and then lose the weight...since nothing is going to burst out of me we've joined a gym and started training with a Personal Trainer. WHEW!! My legs and arms might fall off but I'll look good!!! :D
Uncle Pj's (my best friend from high school) little brother Nicky is in the hospital with girlfriend Ari and I can honestly say that I'm not the teensiest bit jealous that she's about to give birth to baby Damien. I am excited to see this new member of my family and a little horrified that little Nicky is old enough to be a dad...DAMN! I'm getting old! :/ Best of luck to Ari as she pushes a watermelon through her toothpaste tube!!
