Opening my heart to adoption has broadened my horizons and been such a blessing to me. I have been able to sit on the board of a wonderful non profit Gift of Adoption (Check them out!! Do iiittt....DO IT NOW!!) and while I have since resigned to focus on my own adoption I have learned so much. I have also been able to flex my creative muscle and do some event planning, fundraising and grass roots marketing. Most importantly, I have been able to meet new friends.
Click, click...OOOH!! Me likey very much!! (that's my impression of shopping on Etsy and finding The R House Couture) I'm a big fan of personalized jewelry and I tend to browse Etsy often. My favorites section is filled with similar pieces from various sellers (at least I'm consistent!!) but The R House clicked (Pun intended!) with me.

I scared the hell out of the cats when I came across this beautiful birthmother/child set. I screamed and oohed and ahhed over it and added it to my mental list of things I want to give/do for my birth mother.

Reasonably priced for TWO pieces at under $100!


Leisha, Kim, & Lindsey have a passion for their jewelry that really shines through. You can tell that each person understands the range of emotions someone involved in an adoption goes through. They have jewelery that would be special to a birth mother, adoptive mother, birth father, adoptive father and an adoptee. 













Let it be known that I am expecting to have this beauty sitting under my tree this year!!

Leisha, Kim & Lindsey have really been able to beautifully capture the feelings on the adoption roller coaster. I know that any person adopting or placing their child for adoption would feel blessed to sport a piece from this collection.
The R House Couture draws it's inspiration from their personal experiences with adoption and from some of their loyal creative fan base. I love that almost all of their pieces are customizable; 80% of orders are actually custom orders personalized for R clients.
I'm a big fan of the uniqueness that hand stamping, hand cutting, &  hand filingd gives each piece. I love the fact that no one else is going to be rockin' the same piece I am (even if it is similar, it is not an exact replica!)
