I'm a fairly crafty person and have been following TONS of blogs and favoriting projects like there is no tomorrow! I'm really hoping I recieve a sewing machine from Santa this year so I can cross off one of my 30 Under 30: Learn to sew. Considering I have NINETY THREE sewing projects favorited in varying degrees of difficulty the sewing machine might actually get some use!
I've come across some awesome ideas that I actually employed in our mantle this year. We made the dingle bobs hanging on the right hand side, the garland, the red and white felt garland hanging in the greenery garland, the printable, the tall ribbon tree on the mantle and the two garland trees on the floor.
I am pretty happy with how nicely our mantle turned out!

Doodle and I watched The Elf On The Shelf with Popop one night. See the box on the mantle?? She truly believes that Krimpet Karnackle ChickChickadick flys to the North Pole every night! I love it! I think she is the cutest thing ever!! Doodle helped me make hot cocoa and was in charge of putting the marshmallows in the cups (thanks for the diabetes, Doods!) and made sure to add LOOOOTS of them!! Having Doodle around makes it easier during the holidays.
