Time to practice being a Mommy!!!

Doodle Bug chillin' in the backseat on the way to the zoo.
While Aunt Jessa is in Cali livin' it up at her 10 year high school reunion, Doodle (her 4 year old daughter) will be staying with her best friend: ME!! Since I first baby sat Doodle so Uncle Josh and Aunt Jessa could move into their new place Doodle has called me her "best friend." We have Best Friend Juice (water with crystal light in it), Best Friend Kisses (air kisses on each cheek), and we LOVE spending time with each other.

For the past couple weeks Doodle has been coming with us to the Farmer's market on Saturday morning, running some errands, and having lunch at a different restaurant each time. She is such a loveable little girl and I adore spending time with her. Aunt Jessa lets me practice my parenting on Doodle and I feel like I'm more comfortable with the responsiblity of having a little life that relies on me for everything.
Sheel's Ferris Wheel during a Farmer's Market trip.
When I have a bad day I can go to Aunt Jessa's and Doodle runs right into me and shouts, "JENNA!!!!" and everything is a little bit better. I love the faces she makes and she's started making this face where she tilts her head to the side and smiles really wide while shaking her head yes. It's totally like "I know, right?!" Last night Aunt Jessa gave Doodle some gum and she swallowed it on accident. She looked at us and said, "I swallowed my gum!" then burst into tears. We were trying soooo hard not to laugh!!
Cheeseburger in Paradise with Popop
When we went to the Farmer's Market last Saturday we ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise. As we were leaving I wanted a picture of Doodle and Popop (she calls him Papa Randy) in one of the aidirondack chairs. As she climbed up on Popop's lap he winced and moved her tiny, little feet off of his "sensitve spot" where she had been standing. When we get outside she LOUDLY announces "I sat on his peepee!" Oh my gosh! We were dying with laughter. Then she did that "IKR" face while shaking her head yes.
Can I go to the park?
Her favorite thing to do at our place is go down to the park. She wanted someone to push her one time and when no one would she started to bounce in the swing like she was having a seizure then looked at us with a big sad face and said "See?! I can't do it!!" Doodle bug always makes me crack up laughing! I would love to keep her this age forver!! I'm so glad I get to see her almost everyday!
Times like these make me very grateful to have an amazing friend like Aunt Jessa who is happy to share her precious daughter with us. Doodle has each adult in my house wrapped around her finger. D loves to play with her at the swings but Popop has a soft spot for her and SPOILS her rotten!!!!
