Since we weren't selected to be part of this adoption group we have 2 choices. Wait until August and hopefully be selected then or search for a different agency.
We're doing both. Nebraska Children's Home has a F.R.E.E. adoption program but their informational meetings are booked solid with a waiting list until JULY! How crazy is that?! So even though we're looking at different agencies I'm still forced to be patient. I'm slowly becoming very good at waiting. The key is to have lots of things to fill your time and keep you busy!
In April D & I are going camping at Merimac Caves in Missouri and hopefully my BFF from high school will be able to join us! In May, a very close friend is renewing her vows and needs help getting everything handled in such a short time frame, in June Popop is going out to visit uncle Josh in Cali and in July we're going camping in Alliance, NE (near Carhenge!!) so we can attend the NCH's informational meeting and explore Western Nebraska. In between all of that, we will have friends over, have BBQs & pool parties, and just enjoy each other's company.
